An update on Kade....

Sorry it took so long!

Kade is feeling great. He is finally over all of the sickness going around daycare. Yay!

He is growing and changing everyday. I just discovered 2 new teeth coming in (for a total of 8 teeth!).

He will wave and say "Hey" or "Bye". He will also say "what's that" if he hears something in another room. He will clap and say "yay!" if you do something he likes. He loves talking on the phone too! :)

He is trying to walk/stand without holding onto things. He is still dancing too!

These days, he finds EVERYTHING funny!

He loves his dog (Auburn) - well at least until she starts licking him!

We went to the Pumpkin Patch Saturday. He was not in the best mood, but we survived. He LOVES his pumpkins though (artificial and real). We turn the lights off and light up the pumpkins, and he goes crazy! I can only imagine what Christmas will be like! :)

Well, that is all I have for now. Maybe I will make it on here again within the next 2 weeks.
Until then...
We love you!

**By the way, Leanne and Scott are expecting! Woohoo!!!!! Keep them in your prayers!

Not feeling well....

For almost 10 months, Kade Riley has been extremely healthy (not counting a few rashes here and there). In the last week, we have experienced indescribable bowel movements and now our first ear infection. Kade stayed home with Reid last Friday while his bowel movements tested the absorption of his Huggies! Today, Fairfax called to say that he cried and pulled his ear a lot today. Everyone knows that Kade just does not cry!
So, off to the doctor, again!
While we waited to be seen, he screamed and tears rolled down his face. It did not matter that mommy had him or that I tried EVERYTHING under the sun to make him happy. He was in pain and he wanted the world to know it! As soon as the doctor looked at his right ear, it was confirmed. He had a minor ear infection. Although the doctor said minor, I knew from the way he was screaming that it did not matter - Kade was hurting!
I have cried a thousand times thanking the Lord for my little blessing. Today was the first time I cried with my baby because I could not "fix" his pain.
Now, I know what it means to want to take someone's pain away and bear it yourself.

We have an antibiotic and Tylenol now. Maybe we can steer clear of any more sickness for the remainder of this year.
I know I have been very lucky thus far. I just pray our luck continues!

I will have some new pictures up next week. The trips to the doctor have messed up my picture schedule! :)

We are diligently praying for Leanne and Scott. Please keep them in your prayers also!

Until next time....
We love all of you and hope you have a great week!
